Dorkbot Regina is hosting open jams every last Saturday of the month, from 1 – 5 pm!

 

Dorkbot Regina is an evolving group of artists, technicians, sound artists, digerati, and makers who host an open audio and video jam at Neutral Ground, last Saturday of every month. Prepared and spontaneous music takes shape from simultaneous performers. The drop in jams offer participants the opportunity to try out multi-user live video synthesis generating an immersive visual environment where multiple participants jointly compose the audio and video output. This is an excellent forum for trying out a new piece of music or to sample a new sound and rehearse performing live.

 

To participate, bring your laptop and portable gear to plug into our system and join in to improvise on each others' signal. We furnish the amplification and projection and you can get feedback on your spontaneous improvisations from the other participants. Bring your new patch or software and an XLR, quarter-inch, or RCA cable to join in.
